Passed away on May 15, 2018
Colby Jolene Markesteyn, 61, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Hospice Savannah, Inc., surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Savannah, daughter of the late Benjamin V. Markesteyn, Jr. and Rita Booty Markesteyn. Colby was a graduate of Jenkins High School and was previously employed by BellSouth. She was a Christian.
Surviving are her son, C.J. Markesteyn of Savannah; sister, Sandra Jordan (Tom) of Springfield; brother, Benny Markesteyn (Marsha) of Savannah; nieces, Kimberly Miltiades and Emily Kurilla both of Savannah; nephews, Tommy Jordan and Aaron Jordan and other relatives.
The service will be private.
Remembrances may be made to the Humane Society for Greater Savannah, 7215 Sallie Mood Dr., Savannah, GA 31406.

Colby and I were so close when I went to Myers and Jenkins. We shared many teenage moments .... We have not seen each other in a long time but I know we would still be right there sharing all of our secrets ?
